No sound after upgrading to windows 10

Microsoft has released Windows 10 to the world. There is an annoying bug on this version for some users. There are some sound driver issues for several users. Thankfully though, there’s a working workaround for this issue. Here’s out to fix it:

◾Right click on Sound icon to open Playback devices
◾Choose your current playback device
◾Navigate to Properties and click on Advanced
◾Choose lower or higher bitrate (use 24bit/44100 Hz or 24bit/192000Hz  – it depends on the device).

The above steps should fix the issue – I tried it on my computer, and it did indeed fix the issue which is great. If you’re facing the same issue, make sure to follow the above steps to fix it and if you’ve found a better workaround, make sure to share it on the comment section below!

If you have an older Realtek and Via Chipset you will have to set 16 bits 44.1khz to have a decent sound.

Have fun!
